- Requires safe handling of loads, securement of loads, loading and unloading of equipment.
- Signal or performing actions as directed related to hoisting and moving loads
- At the direction of lead rigger/foreman, attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
- Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using forklifts and dollies
- Align, level, and anchor machinery.
- Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy equipment.
- Effectively assemble/disassemble and move machinery utilizing forklifts, gantries, cranes, skates, and jacks.
- Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment - Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, mobile elevated work platform, gantries.
- Drive safely and under DOT regulations tractor & trailer rigs to transport equipment and crews to job sites.
- Routinely hauls over dimensional loads.
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Possess valid Class A CDL with Air brake endorsement.
- Minimum two (2) years proven driving experience at CDL level
- Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.)
- Experienced knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices
- Ability to use general construction tools and equipment.
