    • Design and implement plant improvement projects.
    • Submit and manage an annual maintenance and capital expenditure budget.
    • Collect, analyze, and use data and statistical methods to make objective and informed decisions and improve processes to meet Corporate and Plant Objectives.
    • Prepare reports to be submitted to the Facility Manager for Executive review.
    • Direct and supervise reliability program activities designed to achieve the goals of the plant reliability program including mobile asset management.
    • Assure predictive and preventative maintenance activities and support the overall reliability program.
    • Manage and report KPIs detailing all the managed programs and activities' execution and efficiency.
    • Provide direction and leadership to Maintenance personnel with a focus on TAMKO's Core Values and Culture, provide individual expectations, feedback on performance, and when necessary, discipline to correct unacceptable behavior.
    • Work closely with operations team and corporate departments to ensure equipment reliability is considered throughout all project phases, equipment procurement and changes, maintenance vendor selection, spare part selection and
    • Develop and adopt standards that improve equipment reliability, including but not limited to areas such as PM, RCPE, equipment procurement, stocked parts, rebuilds by equipment type, installation, and work execution.
    • Review installation drawings and specifications and recommend what preventative maintenance actions should be used for new installations and
    • Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel and operations departments on equipment and reliability issues and
    • Recommend innovative solutions to increase equipment and facility life and to reduce maintenance costs through the analysis of repetitive equipment failures and
    • Perform Root Cause Problem Elimination for equipment
    • Submit and manage an annual maintenance and capital expenditure budget.
    • Complete first aid and CPR training and act as a First Responder during plant emergencies.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical engineering, or similar.
    • Competent engineering skills in unit operations including fluid flow, heat transfer, steam, and thermal fluid systems.
    • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance systems, and condition monitoring and fixed time maintenance strategies.
    • Siemens TIA portal and Wonderware HMI programming experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of precision alignment and vibration analysis.
    • Knowledge of parts inventory management, and mechanical and electrical equipment design reliability principles.
    • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Six Sigma methodology (DMAIC) preferred.
    • Experience with SAP and associated functions as the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.
    • Practical knowledge and application of OSHA and EPA regulations.
    Physical Requirements/Work Environment

    • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • This job is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions as well as exterior working heights up to 60 feet. While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, odors, and airborne particles. The employee will be occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, heat, vibration, and confined spaces. The employee may be occasionally exposed to acidic or caustic chemicals and solvents. A respirator may be required at times.
    • The employee must be able to position self to inspect, maintain, and/or repair machinery and equipment on plant floor, as well as railcars. This may require climbing stairs/ladders, bending, kneeling, crawling, and/or stooping.
    • The noise level in the work environment varies, hearing protection is provided.
