- The position is responsible for assisting the physician or physician assistant in providing care to the patient. This position reports to the Clinical Services Manager.
- Excellent verbal, writing and telephone skills.
- Ability to plan and organize work.
- Skill in various computer medical software.
- Medical terminology.
- Knowledge of various medical procedures.
- Excellent custom service skills.
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Perform wound care and assist with orthopedic procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and rehabilitation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
