    Description

    **Description:**

    Hiring for experienced Mill and Lathe Machinists on day, swing, and weekend shift. These are full time opportunities with a job shop that is busy and expanding Open to a variety of experience levels, but must have previous schooling and/or experience with CNC mills or CNC lathes.

    **Responsibilities:**

    Set up and operate CNC mill or lathe by following written and oral work instructions, changing out and adjusting tooling, and making basic code adjustments with supervisor permission as needed.

    Inspecting parts with precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure quality expectations are met.

    Reference blueprints and utilize GD&T to create parts.

    Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on your designated machine. Maintain a clean work station and return any borrowed tools from the Tool Crib.

    Collaborate with other machinists and supervisors to work through production issues or improvements. Good written and oral communication is a must.

    Punctual and reliable.

    **Schedule:**

    Day Shift 4x10s

    Swing Shift 4x10's (includes shift differential $1.50)

    Weekend Shift 3x12's (includes shift differential 10%)

    **Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

    2-5+ years' experience in a CNC machining role, ideally in a job shop environment.

    Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and interpret GD&T symbols

    Use of precision measurement tools

    Ability to perform shop math and convert metric measurements to inches.

    Ability to perform first article runs and inspections of parts.

    Stand for the majority of your shift, lift up to 35 pounds independently.
