Job summary
We're looking for a Maintenance Trade Worker to join our team serving several key community parks. In this role, every day brings something new. You'll put your skills to work through a variety of light to moderately heavy tasks from maintaining beautiful park grounds and facilities to performing minor repairs that help keep our community spaces safe clean and welcoming.Responsibilities
- Maintain Laurel Park Nokomis Community Park and the Venice Train Depot including minor repairs such as fencing signs restrooms etc landscaping weeding trimming etc installations painting plumbing routine unclogging toilets carpentry completing minor carpentry work measuring boards or plywood sawing the boards and/or plywood panels
- Perform daily checks for playground areas equipment parking lots storage areas pavilion hard-court surfaces checking reservation software planning maintenance needs provide janitorial services empty trash pick up litter inside outside at the park ensure facility is secure meet proper historical archaeological maintenance needs operate maintain all equipment floor machine weed whacker hand tools blower timers lighting mechanisms always serve with excellent customer service both internal external customers make temporary repairs submit work orders address issues handled on-site help install benches picnic tables trash can holders paint items graffiti complete projects orderly manner.
