    Job Summary :
    As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, your main role is to develop efficient manufacturing processes for assigned parts. You'll ensure that processes meet specifications, fulfill customer requirements, and produce parts in a cost-effective and timely manner.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:


    Collaborate with various departments to quote new products and create manufacturing processes for assigned parts upon receiving customer purchase orders.

    Interpret customer requirements by reviewing specifications, prints, and models to ensure meeting all expectations.
    Develop cost-effective and repeatable manufacturing processes, including selecting raw materials, manufacturing processes, finishing processes, and estimating machine cycle times.
    Mentor Manufacturing Engineers, providing guidance in drafting, modeling, and documenting the manufacturing process in the ERP system.
    Review and approve the manufacturing process before releasing to Production and customer purchase orders for acceptance.
    Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, addressing quoting questions, design for manufacturability discussions, and other technical interactions.
    Collaborate with the team to implement activities that reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance on-time delivery.

    Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety, actively contributing to a safety culture, identifying opportunities for improvement, and reporting potential hazards.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or a two-year post high school diploma/certificate (preferred).
    4 years of relevant manufacturing experience (required).
    Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems, PC skills in a Windows environment, and experience with ERP systems.
    Experience with quoting machined components and knowledge of GD&T and related inspection methodology.

    Familiarity with various machining operations and platforms, special processes (plating, passivation, heat treat), and design and selection of fixturing and tooling.

    Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays.

    Competencies:
    Effective communication skills, adherence to quality standards, and a commitment to providing positive service experiences.
    Sense of urgency in expediting work, understanding of various manufacturing processes and materials.
    Experience with ISO quality systems, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills.
    Understanding of process capability and gage studies (MSA).

    Physical Requirements:
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Lifting up to 15 lbs.
    Dexterity with computers, including typing and mouse usage.
    Ability to meet customer demand requirements for visual inspection and product acceptance activities.
