Job summary
The warehouse associate is responsible for acting on behalf of warehouse lead to ensure customer requirements are met. This includes conducting cycle counts, pulling parts or inbounding products, receiving goods into the warehouse, assisting with linehaul operations. Warehouse Operations Assist with daily warehouse activities including quality assurance inventory control space management logistics floor productivity shipping and customer service Take steps to reduce costs increase efficiency within scope of your responsibilities and make suggestions to Regional Branch Manager and Operations Lead Inspect equipment tools machinery regularly oversee general maintenance when necessary Leadership Dependability Reliability Behave consistently predictably Diligently follow through on commitments consistently meet deadlines Demonstrate regular punctual attendance Be present for critical events within area of responsibility Response to requests for information from within the company Communication with your Manager fellow coworkers on company priorities local procedures Equipment and Operations Inspect equipment tools machinery regularly report any issues to Regional Branch Manger when necessary Ability learn use technology in an efficient manner People Management Assist recruiting efforts hire train develop strong performing team players cover all routes services assigned branch region Budget Cost Reduction Work Regional Branch Manager develop control expense capital budgets Assist Monthly storage billing Take steps reduce costs increase efficiency within organization Approve timecards payroll analyzing managing overtime taking ownership process overall efficient scheduling align budget business needs Customer Service Strategic Thinking Responsible Timely response customers addressing concerns Respond receivers inquiries concerns resolve delivery complaints immediately Strategizing profitability techniques identifying related business opportunities Safety Compliance Support enforce aspects company policiesprocedures create maintain high level of morale that encourages associate communication ensure equal opportunity all Reporting issues Must report any delivery safety issues or concerns their Regional Branch Manager immediately Work with Manager complete Report Injury accident form same day notify Human Resources department Purple Mountain owners department within hours incident Notification made immediately Owners Human/Resources reporting done timely manner Perform duties as assigned Education Experience And Licensing Requirements Ability obtain maintain Forklift certification desired Ability train use pallet jack required Driver License desired but not required The ability move fleet vehicles requires valid license if there is no valid license employee can NOT drive vehicle at any time.Job description
