- Measures and cuts drywall panels to fit specific spaces.
- Installs drywall panels on wood or metal studs.
- Utilizes drywall compound to cover joints, screws, and imperfections.
- Sands joint compound, applies drywall tape, and creates textured surfaces if needed.
- Finishes gypsum wallboard surfaces by taping, spotting, pointing, filling, finishing, and sanding joints and field surfaces.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned.
- Ability to read building plans.
- Estimation of materials quantity for projects.
- Measure and cut drywall accurately.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for drywall installation.
- High School Diploma preferred but not required.
- All prospective employees need to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Prolonged standing and walking periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, crawl into awkward spaces.
- Capacity to stand on varied surfaces for long periods.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting 80 lbs., bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing.
- Hourly rate: $19-21 depending on experience.

Position Summary
The Drywall Installer and Finisher will secure drywall panels within residential, commercial, and various construction spaces while preparing them for painting or finishing.
