Joseph Hospital and Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital.St Joseph Hospital is a 20 bed emergency department, the primary referral center on the North Coast, and is Level III Trauma Center supported by a wide range of specialist coverage including a Trauma service, Orthopedics, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Neurology, GI, Vascular Surgery, CT Surgery, Urology and Neurosurgery.
Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital is a critical access 8 bed emergency department in Fortuna, California. ~ Joseph Hospital and Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital
~ Provide clinical and administrative leadership of the division in collaboration with executive leaders and managers.
~ Monitor the divisions financial, productivity and quality performance in collaboration with the leadership team.
~ Establish and monitor quality metrics
~ Establish annual staff physician goals and objectives in collaboration with individual physicians within the department
~ Evaluate the performance of the physicians and support physician education and development
~ Provider Medical Leadership for our Sexual Assault and Response Team
~ Provide base support for local ambulance services
~ Participate in key hospital committees.
~ Review and create departmental policies.
~ Facilitate execution of hospital based quality improvement initiatives
~ Emergency Medicine board certification required
~5 years of Emergency Medicine physician experience
