Job summary
We are excited to add Temporary Aquatic Supervisors to the team These positions will be responsible for supervising staff and functions of aquatic programming ensuring quality control coordinating special projects preparing reports developing and monitoring contracts.
In addition the incumbents will be responsible for coordinating implementing staff trainings throughout the season.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional recreation management plans such as scheduling and marketing implement wholesome constructive leisure activities such as public promotions rentals evaluate events create program event ideas open close an aquatic facility
- Provide customer service answer customer inquiries comments evaluate effectiveness of customer service supervise evaluate assigned staff processing employee concerns problems directing work counseling disciplining trains staff advertise for staff vacancies interview prospective employees prepare employee goals tasks approve schedules complete payroll generates increase program event revenue attendance sponsorship promote programs project positive public image seek obtain sponsorships televised events prepare divisional promotional videos coordinate media partnerships schedule recreational aquatic programs leagues lessons special events prepare review communications memos letters invitations e mails executive summaries purchase supplies uniforms programs prepare requisitions ensure equipment in good working order schedule oversee routine special maintenance equipment ensure pools chemically balanced ensure safety patrons staff pools Occupational Safety Health Act criteria met pertaining maintenance MSDS chemicals handling
