    Honkamp Payroll LLC is a growing Payroll and Human Capital Management firm located in Dubuque and North Liberty, IA. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide HR Outsourcing services to small businesses nationwide. This position utilizes independent discretion and is vital to the continued growth of the company.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provides excellent customer service by building strong relationships with multiple clients
    • Supports clients with compliance efforts
    • Benefit administration
    • Payroll administration support (multi-state)
    • Policy development (multi-state)
    • Coordinates with client and employees for onboarding, employee changes, and separations
    • Supports management as needed in HR related functions
    • Requires the ability to accurately enter data for payroll, I-9, benefits, various data processing, and maintaining employee records in multiple systems
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, busy environment

    The ideal candidate:

    We're interested in organized individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service and support in the areas of human resources, employee benefits administration, and payroll. Must be extremely detail oriented, familiar with HR laws, benefit administration, and payroll administration, comfortable using a variety of computer systems, proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.

    Requires:

    • Requires 2-4 years of Human Resources generalist experience
    • BA in Human Resources or combination of equivalent experience and related education is required
    • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred and will be required within 6 months of attainment of job
