- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Toyota vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and hybrid systems, to meet factory standards.
- Conduct routine services (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs) and complex repairs for our service customers.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and Toyota-specific software to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Complete multi-point inspections and recommend additional services to enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to dealership and OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and communicate repair needs to customers.
- Stay current with Toyota technical training and certifications to ensure expertise in new models and technologies.
- Document all repair work accurately in dealership systems for warranty and billing purposes.
- 1-3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a Toyota or high-volume dealership environment.
- ASE certifications (preferred) or Toyota Technical Training certifications; willingness to pursue certifications if not already certified.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and Toyota-specific systems (e.g., Techstream).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including weekends.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Toyota hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of advanced automotive technologies (e.g., ADAS, infotainment systems).
- Prior experience in a dealership environment.
