- Assisting with Design Projects: Work closely with Art Director and Graphic Designer to assist in the creation of various design projects including but not limited to menus, signage, event graphics, social media graphics, advertisements, and presentations.
- Collaborating with Team Members: Collaborate with Art Director, Graphic Designer, and project managers.
- Editing and Designing Print and Digital Assets: Edit print collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, as well as digital assets such as email templates, social media graphics, and website elements.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Manage workload effectively by prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Receiving and Implementing Feedback: Be open to receiving constructive feedback on design work and implement changes accordingly to improve the final results delivered.
- Maintaining Design Files and Documentation: Organize and maintain design files and documentation, ensuring they are easily accessible for future reference and usage.
- Versed in the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Passionate about branding and conscious of staying within brand guidelines
- Self-starter that wants to get things done, ambitious, and driven
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Adaptable and open to change and able to take on new responsibilities independently
- Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment with the marketing team and other departments
- Eager to learn, ask questions, and be of service
- Photography or writing skills are a plus

OVERVIEW: AHC Hospitality, the leading hospitality management company in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a graphic design intern to assist in the production of print and digital materials for its collection of restaurants and properties: The Amway Grand Plaza, JW Marriott Grand Rapids, Peter Island Resort & Spa and more The Intern will report to the Art Director and work in conjunction with the AHC Hospitality marketing department.
