SP Distribution is a successful distribution company of juvenile products in the United States. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Bookkeeper at SP Distribution LLC, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and promptly resolve issues to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Post journal entries to the accounting system.
• Examine customer returns and chargebacks.
• Monitor Wholesale, Webshop, and EDI orders processing.
• Liaise with Customer Service, Operations, and Sales Department staff.
• Provide support in financial analysis, reporting, and additional projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven accounting experience in a similar position / company.
• Strong ability to work independently and achieve personal and corporate goals.
• Must be detail oriented and well organized with effective time management skills.
• Highest levels of honesty, integrity, responsibility and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Other languages advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and financial management software.
• Familiarity with distribution operations and/or the juvenile industry is an advantage.

Position Details:

Job Type: Full-time in our Coral Gables, FL office. Telecommuting is not an option. We offer competitive salary with benefits (medical and retirement), and a friendly, multicultural work environment. Salary commensurate with experience.
