- Load/move cartons or furniture to/from moving vans at customer's residence or loading area in accordance with Alexander's standards.
- Complete and submit documentation to Safety and Operations department.
- Effectively communicate with crew leads, other crew members, and customers.
- Adhere to all Federal Carrier Safety Regulations and Alexander's Safety and Driver Standards.
- Clean and inspect truck, tools, and equipment to preserve the vehicle according to company standards.
- Ensure adequate property protection throughout move site.
- Properly wrap and secure loads.
- Working in the warehouse on "non-road" days.
- Wear proper company uniform.
- Cleanup customer residence or loading area of debris from company activity.
- Performing other duties assigned on a project-to-project basis.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Job DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY
Alexander's Mobility Services is a full service moving and storage company providing a world-class moving experience to our household and commercial customers.We are looking to hire professionals to join our great team as an Local Driver. We offer competitive compensation and great benefits.
The position will be responsible for loading, unloading, and packing of household and commercial furniture at customer locations as needed; and working in the warehouse on "non-road" days.
Applicants must have a clean driving record and possess a valid Class C drivers license.
Post offer/Pre-hire Background and drug screenings required. Also, participation in our random testing program is required.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Company equipment to and from job sites. Arrive at customer location on scheduled time and complete assigned tasks using care not to damage customer items or property.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to oversee assigned support personnel and work with public/customers and maintain a positive, "Whatever It Takes" service attitude.
