If you want to pursue your professional goals as you help grow an innovative real estate tech company, this work is for you We're offering a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Owners & Sellers team. In this role, you'll contribute to developing, maintaining, and scaling frontend applications and tools for owners and sellers, enhancing the consumer experiences in finding home selling options. Additionally, you'll integrate 3rd party APIs, experiment with new tools on the My Home dashboard, and collaborate with teams on our technical roadmap.

    What you'll do:

    • Help architect and develop and maintain highly scalable, dynamic and interactive pages using for frontend applications that talk to Node JS API services, and Apollo Federated GraphQL gateways
    • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers Collaborating in breaking down work into smaller and more manageable pieces of work to deliver incremental value to our consumers.
    • Collaborate with a team of Developers (local and remote) for effective delivery and provide constructive feedback on PR reviews.
    • Work effectively with cross-functional team members to deliver compelling products.
    • Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan and execute at high velocity, and across teams throughout the organization to reuse - existing components and architect shared functionality
    • Work in a product development process that is primarily Agile/Scrum
    • Help fine tune page load performance and SEO

    What you'll bring:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field or equivalent professional experience
    • 5+ years of experience developing software in one or more modern programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go) and five years of frontend development experience
    • Working experience across the full technical stack, delivering quality code on both frontend and backend, with a strong understanding of CS fundamentals, design patterns, schema design, and best practices
    • Knowledge of and understanding of micro frontend applications
    • Experienced in building server-side rendered single-page applications
    • Experienced with implementing progressive web applications and service workers
    • Expert in isomorphic Javascript, CSS/SaSS, and HTML
    • Deep understanding of how to monitor and tune application performance
    • Deep understanding of how to write SEO-friendly React applications
    • Experienced in building large-scale Internet applications with modern Pipeline systems (CircleCI is a plus)
    • Experience with modern orchestration tooling such as Kubernetes (ArgoCD is a plus)
    • Experience with containerization tooling (Docker is a plus)
    • Prior exposure to cloud-based architectures, development, and deployment
    • Familiar with cloud technologies such as AWS EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Kubernetes
