    WE ARE HIRING: Senior Technology Designer in Denver, Colorado

    Position: Senior Technology Designer

    Office Location: Denver, CO

    We are seeking a Technology Systems Sr Designer to join our Lakewood Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, audio/visual, and telecommunication systems. They will have experience in both design and project management, with a strong understanding of the latest technology and trends in low voltage systems.

    Sr. Technology Designer Qualifications and Experience Needed:

    • 3-5 years experience in technology infrastructure design of commercial, Healthcare, University/K-12 projects.
    • Thorough knowledge of telecommunications cabling and infrastructure design and implementation; knowledge of industry standards including BICSI, IEEE and TIA/EIA.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Revit and AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
    • Project Management experience.
    • RCDD/CTS/PE are a plus.
    • Applied knowledge of digital media delivery technologies, audio/visual, security systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and television distribution.

    Sr. Technology Designer Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement low voltage systems for various projects, including access control, audio/visual, and telecommunication systems
    • Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for low voltage systems using industry-standard software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
    • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that low voltage systems meet project requirements.
    • Preparing program requirements and basis of design reports
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that low voltage systems are installed correctly and meet project timelines
    • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
    • Preparing agendas, running design/coordination meetings and providing minutes
    • Preparing construction documentation, including drawings and specifications
    • Review and approve shop drawings and product data submittals and responding to RFIs
    • Field coordination of installation work; reviewing and analyzing test results
    • Systems coordination, specification writing, Revit/drafting, field work, product research, and responding to client questions
    • Managing resources in the development of construction documents
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that low voltage systems are functioning properly and meeting project requirements
    • Serving as a technical resource for others throughout the firm, providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise
