- Using material handling equipment, loads and unloads trucks, locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations, and delivers to supported shops.
- Safely operates assigned material handling equipment. Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Determines accurate material quantities by hand counting, using counting scales, and using vendor labels on sealed containers.
- Uses barcode computers to receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required. Ensures accurate part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location; Resolves discrepancies with material amounts and part numbers.
- Locates parts, ensuring that pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, ensuring material, racking, and equipment are not damaged, and ensuring material is not left in aisles.
- Consolidates parts by part number within the warehouse as directed.
- Complies with domestic and international shipping requirements, including laws, rates, and paperwork requirements for parcel shipments.
- Utilizes computer equipment for data entry, data retrieval, and analysis of data to solve work-related problems and communicate with other associates.
- Stages parts from supermarkets into bins and carts per a pull report or other instructions and delivers carts to the point of use.
- Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of items that may present a hazard.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
- Previous knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse operations is required.

- Safety management mindset.
- Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
- Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
