    The Integrations Product Owner will be a key member of our Product team, and key to our agile product and development processes. This individual will work with prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders. As the owner of specific integrations, the Integrations Product Owner must be prepared to take full responsibility for the success of each integration.

    The preferred location for this role is San Diego, CA. However, remote applications within the United States will be considered. Local candidates will work a minimum of one day in the office per week.

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the management of specific integrations in collaboration with the Senior Director of Product Management, driving the execution and delivery of all integration requirements.
    • Support Product Owners (POs) in product delivery, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch initiatives.
    • Deliver and maintain comprehensive product integration documentation to support ongoing development efforts, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
    • Manage and resolve customer escalations promptly and effectively, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Define user stories and prioritize the backlog to streamline program priorities, ensuring the conceptual and technical integrity of features or components.
    • Regularly report progress and demonstrate milestone achievements to VPs and Directors throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Define and execute go-to-market plans, collaborating with product management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
    • Work within internal agile development processes to maintain quality standards, ensure customer satisfaction, and increase market penetration.
    • Develop user stories, manage the product backlog, and prioritize their development for inclusion in new and subsequent product releases.
    • Conduct unit testing and ensure product builds satisfy all documented requirements, contributing to the overall quality of Procede products.
    • Collaborate with documentation writers and the training team to facilitate internal product understanding and customer product education.
    • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and evangelist for managed products, internally and externally.
    • Manage customer betas and pilots of integration releases, gathering feedback to inform product improvements.
    • Work with product marketing to create comprehensive product launch plans, ensuring all necessary resources are available and ready to support new product releases.

    • Strong Technical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in software deployment best practices, quality assurance protocols, and solution implementation methodologies. Possess a deep understanding of technical documentation and training processes.
    • Rapid Learner: Ability to swiftly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise product requirements and user stories. Adaptable to working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively engage, influence, and inspire collaboration among partners and stakeholders. Capable of articulating technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
    • Requirements Gathering Expertise: Proficient in gathering product requirements from various sources, including internal subject matter experts (SMEs), prospects, and customers. Skilled at identifying and addressing gaps or challenges in product deliverables.
    • Analytical Problem-Solver: Strong root-cause-analysis skills coupled with a strategic mindset. Capable of identifying underlying issues and devising effective solutions to complex problems.
    • Self-Motivated: Intrinsic drive and motivation are essential for success in this role. Able to work autonomously and take initiative to drive projects forward, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
    • Technical Aptitude: Possess a solid understanding of technology implementation strategies and terminology. Comfortable engaging in discussions with software developers to ensure alignment on technical requirements and solutions.

    Requirements

    • 5+ Years of Technical Experience: Proven track record of at least 5 years in a technical role with a focus on complex B2B software applications. Experience in areas such as product management, systems engineering, information technology, or similar fields is highly valued.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, though relevant work experience may be substituted. A strong academic foundation coupled with practical experience is advantageous.
    • Hands-on experience with REST API technologies is preferred, showcasing the ability to interface with diverse systems and enhance integration capabilities.
    • Experience with enterprise or back-office applications is a definite plus, demonstrating an understanding of the complexities inherent in large-scale business environments.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and public speaking skills are essential for effectively communicating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Prior experience in software development, database administration, SQL, or related technical fields is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to engage with development teams and contribute to technical discussions.
    • Experience in automotive or heavy-duty commercial dealership markets a plus
    • Availability to travel for the purpose of meeting with clients, partners, or other stakeholders

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time
    • Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment
    • Ability to lift 20 lbs
    • Ability to effectively communicate with end users and coworker
    • Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone
    • Ability to physically participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
