Senior HPC Integration Lead

to join our HPC team in Mountain View. US Citizenship is required.
Summary

:

The successful candidate will work for the Site Lead and collaborate with HPC Manager as part of the Project Management team to directly oversee the most challenging HPC integrations.

This person will manage several simultaneous efforts ranging from very large HPC integrations to complex continuous improvement initiatives that greatly benefit the program in measurable ways.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and oversight as the Primary:

Technical Integration Lead for all significant changes to environments impacting HPC
Technical Lead for Major Continuous Improvement Initiatives
HPC Lead for Research and Development that will enable complex future integrations
Work with Site Lead and NASA customer to achieve contract deliverables, objectives and, requirements
Hands on technical systems engineering and administration contributions as appropriate

Plan and achieve project objectives; technically guide projects through completion and ensure all project objectives are met within target time frames.

Provide back-up duties to the HPC Manager as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related HPC dependent field
A minimum of 10 years of meaningful experience managing operations of, and complex integration projects, within large HPC Top 100 heterogeneous, multi-platform environments
Demonstrated experience managing projects using various industry best practices and tools
Strong ability to interact with customers to understand needs, elicit requirements, and get feedback on deliverables
Excellent communication and people skills; excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency at technical writing
Preferred Skills:

Project Management Professional Certification
5+ years as a government contractor
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), OpenStack or Kubernetes is a plus
