Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a multi-modality role requiring at least 18 months of experience and current BLS, ARRT, and Indiana state license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a short-term acute care hospital setting with 153 staffed beds
• Duties include CT and general X-ray across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Work with adult and pediatric patients in a Stroke 1 Accredited hospital
• Equipment includes 2 Philips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens Digital Radiography X-ray rooms, Carestream portables
• Uses Cerner EMR for charting; prior Cerner experience required
• Shifts include Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM for X-ray and Saturday/Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM for CT
• On-call required: up to 4-5 call shifts per month including one weekend and 1-2 weekdays, as well as holidays
• No floating between units or to sister facilities
• Locals accepted for this allied position
• Role covers both CT and X-ray modalities, including portable and emergency imaging
• Candidates must be able to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Free parking available on site
• Must be able to work alone as needed
• Any permanent or PRN employee must have a 12-month break before reapplying as a traveler

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of CT and X-ray technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications are required
• Active Indiana state license required; license must be in hand before consideration
• Must be able to perform both CT and general X-ray exams
• Experience with Siemens, Carestream, and Philips equipment preferred
• Graduate of a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Comfortable working independently at times
