About the HospitalA 162-bed Community Hospital, part of CHSRecognized Level III Trauma CenterEmploys Medhost EDIS EMR systemFunctioning as a teaching hospital, hosting medical students, APP students, Nursing students, and RadTech studentsCoverage Areas IncludeTeleradiology and Tele Interventional RadiologyPediatrics (covered by FM physicians)Psychiatry (25 bed adult psych unit)Anesthesiology (all CRNA team)Tele-Intensivists 24/7UltrasoundHospitalistGeneral SurgeryPodiatryGastroenterologyCardiology (2 diagnostic and 1 interventional)Tele Neurology 24/7NeurologyAccredited Chest Pain CenterCertified Primary Stroke CenterProgram Details and Operational HoursHospitalist program handles 40-50 patient encounters/dayFollows a 7 on and 7 off model12-hour shifts for both Physicians (48 hours/day) and APPs (12 hours/day)Candidate QualificationsActive New Mexico license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted state licenseCandidates must be residency trained and BE/BC in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM)About the CommunityRoswell, located at the intersection of three rivers the Spring, the Hondo, the Pecos is a city rich in history and culture.
