Project Engineer - Municipal - KY

Fort Mitchell, KY
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer/Civil Engineer experienced in municipal project design. The ideal candidate should possess strong professional engineering skills to handle design projects from start to finish, within budget and timelines, while also mentoring junior engineers.

Desired Skills and Experience

A BS in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience.
PE License is a must.
Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, GIS, REVIT.
Thorough understanding of permitting and funding agency requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective time management abilities.
Self-driven with a keen interest in career growth.
Valid driver's license and insured vehicle are required.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure design efforts are accurate and complete.
Provide guidance to project staff and ensure goals are met.
Offer technical expertise in project design and review for precision in meeting client requirements.
Compliance with regulatory and permitting standards.
Prepare various project-related documents.
Maintain project schedules and budgets, escalating any deviations to the Project Manager.
Develop strategies for securing repeat business and enhance client relations.
May act as client relationship manager for specific clients.
May be assigned Assistant Project Manager duties.
