Venice Family Clinic is a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to individuals in need, regardless of their financial situation or background. With a team of over 500 dedicated professionals, we assist 45,000 individuals with empathy and professionalism, spanning across the Santa Monica Mountains through the South Bay region. Our services include a network of clinics, Early Head Start centers, mobile clinics, and a street medicine program to support the homeless community.

Join our team as a Health Advocate and make a meaningful impact on the community. In this role, you will support follow-ups, referrals, appointments, reporting, and maintaining accurate records to meet health and disability standards under the Head Start Performance guidelines. Reporting to the Children First Early Head Start Health Services Manager, you will also handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the management team.

Salary: $59.34 per hour

Required Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluency in Spanish (verbal and written).
Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, children, parents, and external organizations.
Ability to make informed decisions, maintain strict confidentiality, and utilize software such as Nextgen databases and MS Office Suite.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and internet navigation.
Valid CA State driver's license, willingness to travel, and flexibility in scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Skilled in interpreting technical procedures, medical documents, and government regulations.
Adept at problem-solving and handling diverse situations with limited standardization.
