- Supervises the planning, organization, and development of the operation administration.
- Supervises the department billing and employee attendance report.
- Oversee daily duties of employees to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations with training programs, new hires, and employee ID management.
- Ensures a monthly ID Renewals report to Human Resources.
- Ensures an organized and maintained employee record system per department.
- Give guidance to employees in handling errors, problems, complaints, and/or disputes.
- Performance analyses of employees.
- Go over the monthly quarterly report with the Operations Manager ensuring up to date data on resignations, leaves of absence, and vacation.
- Coordinate work schedules and duty assignments.
- Interpret and explain work procedures and policies to staff.
- Prepare and manage reports, manuals, correspondence, and other documents using a database or word processing.
- Review records and reports relevant to payroll, production, and other workplace activities for monitoring employee activities and evaluating performance.
- Work with other supervisors to coordinate workplace activities with other departments, units or teams.
- Responds to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
- Implement company or departmental policies, procedures, and quality/service standards.
- Maintain records, including inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, and maintenance documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 3+ years of Payroll experience.
- Minimum 1+ years of supervisory experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially World, and Excel.
- Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
- Analytical skills to understand payroll and time attendance.
- Interpersonal and verbal communication skills to foster strong relationships with managers, union representatives, and employees, as well as present in front of groups.
- Listening skills to understand points made by employees and respond appropriately to issues.
- The ability to work and communicate with all levels of Operations and management.
- Should possess a work style and conduct that is approachable and hospitable, while motivated to achieve result.
- Must be very organized, with strong attention to detail; must stay on top of paperwork.
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge from the airport.
