Job Description:
Experience with enterprise class Windows Server system design and administration, including the proactive monitoring of system environments and problem resolution, user support,
printing support, liS support, certificate management, system application support, Operating System (OS) support, hardware/software system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Experience as an enterprise administrator in a Cloud Active Directory domain infrastructure.
Experience with cloud technologies including management and maintenance of an Azure and AWS Cloud based platform.
Experience with scripting languages including Microsoft PowerS hell.
Experience working with Microsoft Premier Service tools and services to update and maintain core Windows Server platform services.
Experience using Virtual Storage Area Network.
Experience using Hyper Converged infrastructure.
Experience using Veeam backup technology
Backup-To-Disk hardware support.
Experience architecting and managing an enterprise class VMWare infrastructure.
Experience managing Cloud based virtual networking, including Express Route.
Experience in an enterprise networking environment managing LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Experience managing SQL servers and associated databases.
Experience managing Microsoft 365 messaging and supporting infrastructure.
Experience with replication for Disaster Recovery and Disaster Recovery as a Service.
Experience managing VXRail Virtual SAN environments.
Experience with EMC or Netapp hybrid managed file systems and Commvault backup to Cloud solutions.
Required Skills:
Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
Design, install, maintain, and document all server and cloud platform requirements in an enterprise scale Windows Active Directory platform as directed by the Department.
These duties include, but are not limited to:
system administration, server maintenance, monthly patching, daily monitoring, error tracking, issue remediation and change control.
Perform proactive daily monitoring for high availability, system data protection, central authentication, user account management, disk storage management, hardware and OS maintenance, and application maintenance for all platforms serviced by Server and Cloud Support Team, as directed by the Department.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by customers, system administrators and support teams daily as directed by the Department.
Provide technical expertise to users, management, vendors and peers for issues involving other Department business offices and vendors daily as directed by the Department.
Provide technical experience for traditional and cloud based Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), as directed by the Department. This must include system replication to the cloud, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
