- Process Import and Export Consignments: Handle consignments passing through JFK facility.
- Goods In Process: Review documentation, verify piece count, weight, and dimensions upon receipt.
- Goods Out Process: Review documentation, piece count, dimensions, and re-icing during departure.
- Temperature-Controlled Packaging: Prepare solutions (PCM, Liquid Nitrogen, Dry Ice) based on client needs.
- Temperature Loggers and GPS Trackers: Select and prepare these from onsite inventory.
- Quality Checks: Inspect reusable temperature-controlled packaging solutions.
- Inventory Maintenance: Clean, restock, and update reusable packaging inventory.
- Discrepancy Communication: Clearly communicate any discrepancies.
- Assist Other Departments: Support internal Operational teams during staff shortages.
- Facility Hygiene: Maintain high hygiene standards within the facility.
- 3+ years experience with courier, freight, and warehouse operations, including import/export and transportation.
- Experience handling temperature-sensitive and time-critical shipments.
- Proficiency in Life Sciences and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) courier operations.
- Proven ability to work effectively under strict time constraints.
- In-depth understanding of temperature-controlled packaging solutions available to forwarders.
