    Responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operation of the school based mental health program, including interactions with students, students' families, school personnel, interdisciplinary personnel, and local and state governing bodies, ICL personnel and administration, N.Y. State Office of Mental Health.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Establish compliance with state and city regulations
    • Provide direct clinical supervision to clinical
    • Provide skills training to families, school personnel, and
    • Provide classroom-based consultation and training in behavior management and inclusion theory and
    • Provide administrative supervision to all
    • Oversee mandated levels of service
    • Participate in development of budget
    • Lead utilization review committee.
    • Lead interdisciplinary team disposition committee.
    • Train staff in the maintenance of clinical records in compliance with all city, state, and federal regulations as per the city Department of Mental Health, Mental Disabilities and Substance Use Services, the State Office of Mental Health, and the State of New York Department of Health.
    • Coordinate research and evaluation of project; collects data, completes electronic submission of data on a regular basis, and submits written quarterly and annual reports.
    • Schedule in agency training/in-service programs in conjunction with OMH and other participatory school
    • Report weekly to Vice President of Integrated Services
    • Consult with school personnel as needed for crisis intervention.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Education: PhD, PsyD, or Master's degree in social work, or related field, and valid state certification.

    TrainingandExperience: 5 years minimum clinical experience with children and families, experience in school-based setting preferred. 3 years minimum progressive administrative and/or managerial experience.

    JobKnowledge: Must have an excellent understanding of state OMH and DOH and city DMH regulations. Superior written and verbal communication skills are a must. Successful track record of leading diverse interdisciplinary staff is essential.
