    Overview:
    • We at M Health Fairview are seeking a Nursing Station Technician at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN.
    • This part-time role entails 48 hours every two weeks on Day/Night shifts lasting 12 hours, including every third weekend. Additionally, the position offers benefits such as medical, dental, and more.
    About the Opportunity:
    • Join our team at Northland Medical Center where we provide quality care to patients in Princeton, Elk River, Zimmerman, and surrounding areas.
    • Our Med/Surg Unit offers varied experiences in medical, surgical, pediatrics, and adult Intensive Care.
    • We boast a strong team comprising 43 nurses, 12 nursing assistants, and 1 HUC, with a focus on high employee engagement, patient experience, and accountability.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • The Nursing Station Technician (NST) will collaborate with nursing staff to provide patient care.
    • Duties include but are not limited to patient cares, vitals, bathing, feeding, answering call lights, and maintaining rooms.
    • Additionally, responsibilities cover special procedures, observing patients' conditions, effective communication, and maintaining medical records.
    • Qualifications:
    • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification; completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent direct care experience of at least six months.
    • Alternatively, current enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program with clinical rotation experience may be considered.
    • Furthermore, Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification is required upon hire.
