    Job DescriptionPDQ Staffing is in search of talented employees able to work weekends at one of our logistics partners As a Weekend Standup Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating standup forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the smooth flow of products through our facility. Shift
    • Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    Hours
    • 12pm-9pm
    Rate
    • $19.00
    Requirements
    • Proven experience as a standup forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center environment
    • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping and labeling
    • Flexibility to work weekends and possibly extended hours during peak periods
    • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
    Responsibilities
    • Safely operate standup forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse and load onto the trucks/containers
    • Load and unload trucks, stack and unstack pallets, and move materials to and from storage areas
    • Perform routine pre- and post-operational inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and removing debris
    • Assist with inventory management by accurately counting and recording merchandise
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and deadlines
    • Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding quality, safety, and productivity
