    1st Shift Hours:
    Monday-Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm, Fridays & weekends as needed

    Starting Pay:
    Based on ExperienceEXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERREDTwo year's related tooling/tool room experience.
    Ability to read blueprints.
    Ability to read precision measuring tools.
    Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing.
    Basic knowledge of mills, lathes, surface grinders, radial arm drills and spotting press.
    CNC programming experience a plus.
    Mechanically inclined.
    High School Diploma preferred.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSCommunicate stock availability and check inventory.
    Ability to read blueprints and make cores and punches per the blueprint.
    Requires basic plumbing skills.
    Build and maintain fixtures per blueprint.
    Know how to hook up and operate a hot oil machine.
    Knowledge of proper polishing techniques.
    Know how to operate the hydraulic and electrical test machine.
    Analytical problem solving techniques.
    Repair die cast dies, trim dies and fixtures using precision measuring tools.
    Performs machine operations using drills, grinders, mill and lathe.
    Maintain clean and orderly work area.
    TIG weld tool components as needed.
    Process Specific Training if available.
    Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time.
    JOB EXPECTATIONSReact to problems associated with die cast and trim dies on the production floor.
    Service die cast and trim dies prior to die set.
    Communicate problems with floor supervisors and/or Quality department.
    Complete required documentation.
