What will be your responsibilities?

Oversee the care/services offered by LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other team members responsible for resident care
Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit, ensuring each resident is assigned capable staff
Administer safe and accurate Medication Related interventions to residents
Assess residents' health and promptly inform the physician of any changes, carrying out new orders efficiently
Develop a personalized care plan based on assessments and provide necessary nursing care
Implement appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize residents' conditions and prevent complications
Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and care plan development

Education and/or Experience:

ADN or BSN degree
Demonstrate understanding of basic nursing practices with a keen interest in gerontological nursing
Preferably possess 2 years of experience in a long-term care environment

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must hold a current state license as a registered nurse (RN)
Current CPR certification
Additional certification in a nursing specialty preferred
