- Responsible for establishing pricing architecture within Verizon Value to assist sales and finance in effective decision making and increased speed to market for base and promotional pricing
- Partnering with the subsidy team, sales, marketing, FP&A, and Managing Directors to evaluate subsidy expenses, scenario planning, and roadmap assortment recommendations
- Effective communication across the organization of cost and SRPs by brand and retailer
- Partnering with sales and invoicing to automate term sheets and other system capabilities
- Partnering with teams throughout the business to leverage digital finance tools to further automate modeling and disseminate insights to create more effective business decisions.
- Partnering with Demand Planning and FP&A to evaluate excess inventory pricing requests by reviewing assortment from end-of-life items to A stock pricing moves
- Partnering with Verizon Sourcing to assist in promotional negotiations with our OEM partners; delivering on roadmap pricing requirements in collaboration with Sales and Managing Directors
- Analyzing pricing requests by evaluating LTV models and working with budget owners to determine impact to P&L
- Defining the need for and the source of data requirements for the planning & forecasting and reporting processes.
- Conducting the development of strategic business analysis with overlays and commentary.
- Proactively identifying possible scenarios, risks and opportunities around business performance.
- Communicating with partners in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience with pricing architecture, channel strategy, and pricing analytics
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Database management experience
- A Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry
- A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA
- A high degree of analytical capability with the proven ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision.
- Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations
- An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management
- Proficiency in Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance

The Finance Organization at Verizon, we are building a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. We have begun a comprehensive program to streamline processes, improve systems, realign the organization and add opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.
