Join the 2024 FIS University ProgramAs a 2024 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including bi-annual performance connects with your manager.
This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:Learn how to work within a corporate environment
Learn about the exciting world of Fintech and the role FIS plays
Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
Build a network of your peers from across the organization
*This position is for a June 2024 start.
About the role
As a 2024 E01 Program participant with FIS, you will benefit from an on-the-job training program.
As a program participant, you will have the opportunity to be mentored and participate in a team learning environment for 4 months.
After completion of the training program, the FIS E01 program participants will participate in virtual training with their managers and mentors as they integrate with their account team.
What you will be doingYou will jumpstart your future in the Fintech industry by working alongside experts and mentors who provide hands-on training and growth opportunities.
You will push boundaries and be at the forefront of meaningful, forward-thinking change through your work at FIS.You will be working in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a veteran team of programmers, business analysts, and operations analysts.
You will assist in building and deepening client relationships and finding the best solutions for client requests and challenges.Gain an understanding of the applications supported for the account
Performs analysis of the business requirements and does research to support business operations and presents findings to manager or project leader
Identify and implement best practices and suggests how to improve current practices
Perform a variety of basic/developmental coding and testing tasks and research and analyze design documents, processes, and procedures to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner
Document changes that are outputs of customization project (Features & Functionality documents)
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
Experience in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
Good leadership skills
Analytical thinking with an entrepreneurial attitude to problem-solve
Technology and banking knowledge
Basic knowledge of network and computing devices, operating systems, systems development, and/or information systems architecture is desired
Added Bonus if you have
Previous experience in Cobol
