    Job Duties:
    • The Recruiting Manager will supervise the SCDSS Recruitment, SLED/Fingerprint, Health & Wellness, and the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Programs.
    • You will establish a clear vision and direction for the recruitment team.
    • You will manage the SCDSS recruitment program and the full life-cycle recruitment for the agency.
    • You will be responsible for the applicant tracking system (NEOGOV) and ensuring that all content is accurate and up to date.
    • You will develop and conduct training opportunities for managers and HR personnel.
    • You will establish and maintain a recruiting-tools portal for hiring managers.
    • You will be responsible for analyzing and improving time-to-hire metrics and overall recruitment performance.
    • You will establish quarterly talent acquisition and recruitment targets in response to the agency strategic plan, and ongoing agency wide job openings.
    • You will represent SCDSS at career fairs and other state government meetings.
    • You will create and maintain partnerships with community referral sources and DSS partners to ensure advertisement of all DSS job vacancies.
    • You will implement strategies that promote a diverse applicant pool.
    • Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
    Minimum and Additional Requirements

    State Requirements:
    A bachelor's degree and relevant human resources experience.

    A master's degree in human resources management may substitute for the required experience.
    Preferred Qualifications

    A master's degree and three (3) years of experience in a Human Resources Management program.

    or a bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources Management program.
