This position is for a GM Apprentice position. You must possess your own tools to perform this position.

Hirning Buick GMC has an immediate opening for a full-time Automotive Apprentice As an Apprentence, you will be trained as an Automotive Technician. This is an excellent career opportunity with the area's largest GM Service Department. Our shop is one of largest in the area giving each technician 2 stalls with a hoist in each Our shop is also equipped with heated floors and LED lighting. $20-$30 flat rate or hourly rate, depending on experience

Sign-on bonus and moving allowance is available to the right candidate

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

• Knowledge in aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license
