    Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:

    The Senior Director, Global Indirect Procurement & Vendor Management is expected to drive cost savings through leveraging our worldwide spend and negotiations with vendors, drive efficiency in our indirect procurement operations, minimize the efforts of Company stakeholders in procuring goods and services and drive processes that enable seamless interactions with stakeholder's dependent on the procurement cycle (like accounts payable).

    The Senior Director will manage the indirect procurement teams providing leadership, training, and mentoring and overall developing a deep bench of talent.


    Roles and Responsibilities:


    Lead, train, mentor and manage purchasing team across a broad range of disciplines including procurement operations, sourcing, contracts and travel and event management.

    Ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant SOP's, DOPs, and SOX requirements.
    Establish and maintain procurement metrics to drive financial savings, operational effectiveness, and internal customer satisfaction.
    Perform in-depth spend analysis to develop recommendations and realize optimized spend leverage.
    Manage and lead sourcing initiatives with cross-functional teams. Evaluate business opportunities to maximize cost savings and provide the best service, quality, and supplier capability.
    Drive continuous improvement of current systems and processes to both reduce cost to serve and drive efficiency of stakeholders.

    Strategically rationalize supplier base with the objective of leveraging cost and improving qualityCreate strategic supplier relationships with key MRO suppliers to meet/exceed company's requirements for cost, quality, and service.

    Manage global travel and events services working closely with finance and other stakeholders to minimize costs and maximize user efficiencies while providing the travel and event experience commensurate with the Company's culture and objectives.

    Coordinate with legal to ensure that contract reviews are addressing regulatory and legal requirements and minimizing Company risks.


    QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:


    Strong leadership skills and experience in real estate matters and facilities operational issuesAbility to develop and maintain positive relationships with in-house resources, business groups, operations personnel, and senior management.

    Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with external resources, such as consultants, outsourced business partners, regulators, and municipalities.
    Expertise in the management of large-scale tenant improvement projects and green field building and development projects.
    Expertise in the management of construction management, and project management disciplines.

    First-hand experience working with and directing the operation and work output of various professionals, such as attorneys, architects, landlords, general contractors, sub-contractors, material suppliers, and real estate brokers.

    Excellent communicator both oral and written.
    Strong analytical skills.
    Results oriented and comfortable with a management by objectives style of management.
    Self-motivated and directed and excellent interpersonal skills.
    Excellent decision making, problem solving, and problem resolution/negotiation skills.
    Experience managing capital and expense budgets from the budget inception. through monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close periods.

    Ability to travel throughout the Asia Pacific and India region on a regular basis with an emphasis on Malaysia, India, Japan, Korea, and China.


    Skills, Experience, Education and Training:
    BS degree or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in MRO or in-direct purchasing.
    Minimum 10 years of experience in indirect procurement with global responsibility, leading a team in a large corporate environment.
    High data analytics capabilities and extensive use of dashboards and metrics to measure spend savings and efficiency.
    Highly proficient in MS Office products and ERP systems, preferably SAP and Agile.
    Proven ability to build and lead a high-performance team to consistently achieve stretch goals and objectives.
    Advanced negotiation skills and experience.
    In-depth knowledge of purchasing systems (Coupa experience preferred), and MRO supplier management.
    Experience in leading cross-functional teams to implement procurement and sourcing initiatives.
    Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

    Ability to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities as well as differing priorities within cross-functional teams.

    Knowledge of SOX financial and procurement compliance regulations.
