    Description

    Provide services to NIWC Atlantic in support of the Submarine Integration Division. Cybersecurity experience is required in the prevention of damage to, protection of, and restoration of computers, electronic communications systems, electronic communications systems, electronic communications services, wire communication, and electronic communication, including information contained therein, to ensure its availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and nonrepudiation. Tasks performed are to ensure Navy applications, systems, and networks satisfy Federal/DoD/DON/Navy cybersecurity requirements. IAT Level 2 Certification Required or in the process thereof.

    Requirements

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    Provide Cybersecurity and IA to the SSTD IPT to assure information and manage risk for the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information, ensuring the integrity, availability, authenticity, non-repudiation, and confidentiality of user data. This support includes:

    • Analyzing cybersecurity policies and requirements and deriving solution requirements
    • Implementing cybersecurity risk reduction throughout the solution lifecycle
    • Assessing security risks of SSTD baselines prior to release
    • Executing static code security scans and remediating identified vulnerabilities
    • Executing cybersecurity scans such as ACAS, SCAP, and remediating identified vulnerabilities
    • Assessing and responding to IAVA
    • Executing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and requirements to establish and maintain accreditation
    • Rapid Assess and Incorporate Software Engineering (RAISE) process
    • Minimal travel may be required
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Top Secret Clearance
    • IAT Level 2 Certification
    • Bachelor's in Information Systems/Cybersecurity desired or 10 years related experience
    • Annual DoD Cybersecurity/IA Awareness training will be required
