Description

The Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for the innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's operational and strategic risk.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Analyze operational, financial and analytical data.
Create risk models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
Develop action plans and reports for organizational leaders.
Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends.
Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.

Develop Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework.

Ensure the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization.

Oversee and monitors operational risk management activities of the organization.
Monitor and analyze risks within the company's business units and reports on these risks to the appropriate committee.

Provide key inputs into the company's enterprise risk or other committee that oversees the enterprise risk management process and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.

Support for Insurance and Risk Management and / or Business Continuity Planning activities for the organization.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field.
Five years of related experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
Thorough understanding of project management.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
