    Busy distribution business in Woodbury, Connecticut seeks a delivery driver/warehouse employee with an excellent work ethic and strong customer service skills.  Must submit a resume for consideration and be willing to occasionally deliver to NYC.


    Job Description:

    • Accurately pick and pack product for deliveries under direction of warehouse managers
    • Safely load up van prior to heading out on delivery route
    • Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of packages to avoid damage
    • Make residential and commercial deliveries in NY, CT, MA, and NJ multiple days/week
    • During non-delivery days, pack packages and pallets, use scanning technology to inbound product, assist with inventory counts as needed, and help maintain warehouse cleanliness

    Requirements:

    • Delivery experience required; warehouse experience preferred
    • Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 40 pounds
    • Skilled at GPS navigation, following delivery instructions, and keeping to a delivery schedule
    • Flexibility for occasional longer days; regular and punctual attendance
    • Able to work with limited supervision as well as in a team
    • Capable of operating a forklift and/or electric pallet jack
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Clear, valid driver's license (CDL not required)
