One of the largest multi-specialty practices with over 2500 providers and 340 locations, has an immediate need for an X-ray Technologist to work in one of their locations Manhattan.

Direct hire or Temp to perm


Schedule:
Schedule: 8-5 (Mon-Fri)** one late evening until 6pm on Thursday


Responsibilities:

Assumes accountability for managing delivery of care and patient safety

Prepares patients for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, cooperation and to minimize anxiety

Operates CR / Digital X-ray system and imaging equipment properly, safely and in an efficient manner

Assesses patients for potential risk factors

Ensures proper identification of patient and demographics

Clarifies / follows Doctor's orders and scans needed information in PACS

Maintains x-ray room cleanliness after exam and procedure


Qualifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification

Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)

Vaccinated for Influenza, seasonal

1 year experience preferred
