    GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of distribution, quality assurance and inventory.

    Key responsibilities include leading distribution associates in meeting and exceeding the Distribution Center (DC) KPI goals and objectives established for the facility.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrioritizes the daily workflow to meet and exceed customer commitments.
    Coaches, trains, and leads a team of 25-30 distribution associates to meet prescribed productivity and service goals.
    Supervises physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products in a profitable manner.
    Administers and ensures compliance with company policies, OSHA standards and applicable employment laws.

    Establishes procedures for verification of distribution services including receiving, order picking, storing, shipping, handling returns, damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.

    Plans short-term labor needs based on forecasts and input from management. Operates in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes.
    Ensures consistent daily/weekly expense control.

    Develops effective planning and project management for process improvements and supports implementation of new processes and installation of new equipment.

    Ensures the involvement of the Distribution Center Leadership Team and employees in design and implementation of new technology.

    Participates in process audits to identify the need for appropriate containment or corrective and preventative actions leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes.

    Monitors a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters.

    Assumes additional responsibilities and preforms special projects as needed or directed to support the Wholesale business.

    BASIC (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent 4+ years' experience in related fieldThorough understanding of the warehouse and distribution environment demonstrated by knowledge/experience in shipping, order pulling, receiving, inventory control, and replenishmentKnowledge/experience with WMS, SAP, and familiarity with PC and MS OfficeAbility to interact in an effective manner with all levels of the organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience Supervisory experience Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
