    Description
    Sundial Beach Resort & Spa , located on tropical Sanibel Island, is seekinga Maintenance Engineer

    to join our team.


    TheMaintenance Engineer is responsible for:
    maintaining the entire resort facility; including physical building structure; all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment. This individual ensures the upkeep of guest areas and maintains an attractive hotel.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Responsible for the Guest Rooms Preventive Maintenance

    Program.
    Respond and perform duties, handle and double check

    guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
    Maintain proper records of the Rooms Preventive

    Maintenance Program.
    Complete work order request forms on a daily and timely

    basis.
    Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean

    condition.
    Inspect all public areas daily for burnt light bulbs.
    Maintain effective communication with other departments

    and provide support when necessary.
    Perform guest service and safety duties as needed in

    absence of or in addition to Safety Team.
    Attend regular scheduled meetings.
    Ensure that the company's service levels are maintained

    at the highest level by using all internal and external resources

    necessary to provide exceptional guest service.
    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the

    Chief Engineer and/or other Department Heads as needed.

    Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
    Minimum two years of experience in hotel and/or condo maintenance
    Valid drivers' license to operate a Resort golf cart
    Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical systems. etc.
