    Description

    Production Process Manager

    This role is responsible for overseeing the overall production process and field operations in the Western region, covering bidadoo's Kent, WA yard and surrounding states OR, WA and ID.

    The Production Team and field operational infrastructure will be managed, as well as our inspection and production process. This involves bringing equipment to market via online auctions and remarketing services.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Managing all production processes and assets in the region from acquisition to delivery to buyer
    • Overseeing online production, including equipment inspections, research, photography/video, descriptions, and logistics
    • Scheduling and coordinating heavy equipment inspections with partners/customers
    • Managing local production, yard, operations, and field customer support activities
    • Writing professional equipment inspections and descriptions
    • Typical equipment includes construction equipment, heavy machinery, ag/agriculture equipment, trucks, etc.
    • Construction equipment yard management, including loading/unloading, light repairs, customer assistance, troubleshooting, etc.
    • Managing direct reports, including work allocation, performance management, coaching, succession planning, career development, and compensation

    Background and qualifications include:

    • Experience with heavy equipment and machinery, such as construction equipment, agriculture equipment, trucks, or industrial equipment
    • Significant customer engagement, service, and support experience
    • Strong equipment and mechanical skills and diagnostic experience
    • Proficiency in computer skills, applications, internet, etc.
    • Some experience with photography and/or video recommended
    • Experience with buying and/or selling over the internet, especially eBay
    • Ability to manage projects with multiple tasks, resources, and customer interaction
    • Attention to detail and mechanically inclined
    • Strong leadership, management, coaching, and change management skills
    • Ability to climb on and inspect large construction equipment regularly
    • Recommend a minimum of 50 transactions completed on eBay or other online selling site (Machinery Trader, Truck Trader, etc.)
    • Ability to work flexible schedules, including traveling to customer locations

    Vertical expertise helpful background includes heavy equipment & machinery, construction equipment rental, service and sales/marketing, auction sales, remarketing, etc.

    Self-motivated with skills and attitude to excel in a start-up/entrepreneurial/team-oriented environment
