    Schedule:
    Monday to Friday day-shifts, with occasional weekends (Flexibility available)

    Duration: 13 weeks or more (Temp-to-hire opportunity)

    Responsibilities

    1.


    Medication Order Verification:
    Review and validate medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and adherence to formulary guidelines.

    2.


    Patient Medication Counseling:
    Provide comprehensive medication counseling to inpatients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and medication administration techniques.

    3.


    Pharmacokinetic Monitoring:

    Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and adjust medication dosages based on patient-specific factors such as renal function, hepatic function, and drug interactions.


    4.


    Collaborative Interdisciplinary Care:

    Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-specific medication therapy plans, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.


    Ideal Candidate:

    • Active Oklahoma pharmacist license, required
    • Prior hospital experience preferred
