Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Relocation package available As a Desktop Applications Developer for Cyber Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for enterprise class systems, specialized Linux OS and mission critical applications.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
RedHat Linux, software development, advanced troubleshooting and detail orientated

What sets you apart:

Experience with Linux and navigating through/managing a system from a terminal window Experience with software development in C, C++, Makefiles, and bash scripting.

Experience with using the PitBull operating system as a developer, user, or admin. Experience with GTK or other widget libraries (QT, WxPython, etc). Experience modifying large third party codebases (such as Mozilla Firefox and SANE).

While on-site, you will be a part of the GDMS San Antonio Location This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).

Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $86, USD $95,929.40 /Yr.
