    Job Summary:
    DT Professional Services is seeking an Operations Lead to support our Government Client in Norfolk/Suffolk, Virginia or the DC Metro area. We provide reliable Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamic 365 CRM platforms as a service to its customer base to host a variety of mission applications, collaboration, business intelligence, and workflows. Our team operates, maintains, assimilates, and upgrades multiple SharePoint and CRM instances. We examine and rationalize the existing content and customizations in the SharePoint production farms with the intent of migration to future generation environments.

    As the Operations Lead, you will be using DISA Governance policies, practices, and processes in addition to using cutting edge SharePoint technologies to deliver the best solutions to our clients. A Secret Clearance is required for the position and Interim Secret is required at a minimum to be able to start work. This position is remote/hybrid (SIPR access requires periodic on-site visits in the DISA office, either DMV or Suffolk/Norfolk area).

    As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisors, and staying focused on the assigned tasks.

    Responsibilities:
    • Track and help troubleshoot widespread issues in the environment
    • Serve as a point of escalation to the Analyst and Engineering teams when technical coordination needed across teams
    • Work closely with the Delivery Manager to report on the impact of changes to the environment
    • Attend ECRB & CAB meetings to ensure the team is aware of changes to the environment that could impact the SharePoint & CRM platform
    • Ensure team is following best practices while also considering the unique needs of the customer
    • Help identify technical risks to schedules and performance
    • Author and maintain JSP SharePoint Governance Plan
    • Ensure that JSP SharePoint Governance adheres to Microsoft best practices
    • Ensure that JSP SharePoint Governance is consistent with overall JSP Governance
    • Ensure that changes, upgrade, and patches to the SharePoint environment are implemented in accordance with the JSP SharePoint Governance Plan
    • Provide knowledge sharing and training as needed to ensure team is informed of Governance
    • Documents capability gaps and areas for improvement
    • Documents recommendations for Tools
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Strong SharePoint background, with migration and trouble-shooting experience
    • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related technologies
    • Strong knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and documentation
    • Experience updating technical documentation such as SOPs, Design documentation/guides, Network Diagrams
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
    • Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the SharePoint framework
    • Minimum of 5 years of Experience with SharePoint 2013, 2019, and SharePoint Online
    • Minimum of 4 years of Experience with SharePoint migrations
    • DoD issued Secret Clearance is required
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical specialty preferred
    • Preference is local to the DC metro area
    • 2 years of experience in support of DoD environment
    • A good understanding of DoD mission and business practices
    • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements
    • Security + Certification (not required - but nice to have)
    The compensation range for this position: $100,000 to $135,000 annually.
