Reliability Engineer Towson MD Hybrid

Hybrid: On-site 3 days a week in Towson MD

The Job:

As a Reliably Engineer, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team as a temporary hybrid employee. You'll get to:

Establish, Qualification Test Plans to Ensure Products Meet Customer CTQ Metrics to Ensure a Successful Product launch.

Define application based product testing procedures and methods and their corresponding product reliability targets.

Maintain Appropriate Project & Milestone Documentation such as Test Plans, Test Status Reports, and FRACAS.

Drive FMEA Process Early in the Design Phase to Optimize Design and Mitigate Risk.

Participate in Design Safety Reviews During the NPD Process to Ensure Product Meets All Requirements.

Apply Reliability/Quality Science to Assure New Product Quality Goals Are Achieved Irrespective of Schedule Pressures & Cost.

Identify High Warranty Products for Product Teardowns, Root Cause Assessment and Ensure Corrective Action Resolution.

The Person:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Discipline.

3+ Years Technical Experience in Reliability/Test Lab/Quality Discipline in a New Product Development Environment with Electro-Mechanical Devices.

Prior New Product Development Experience is a Plus.

Trained in the Use of Six Sigma Tools and Techniques (i.e., Six Sigma Green Belt) such as: Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
