Position Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Terms of Employment: 201 days holidays)
Union Classification: Non-Union
FLSA Classification: Exempt

Qualifications:

Master's degree in learning and behavioral analysis or related mental health field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification preferred
Interns eligible for consideration, with supervision offered, as long as intern trainee can meet BCBA supervision requirements
Safety Care certification or willingness or ability to obtain
Experience with children on the Autism Spectrum preferred
Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as part of a team
Must have valid drivers license

Reports to: Special Education Director

Evaluation: Annual

Job Goal: To serve as district wide BCBA serving as a consultant for individual students and district wide programs. To develop and implement behavioral services for students across the district.

Essential Duties:

Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, presenting findings and recommendations as needed
Develop and monitor behavior support plans using ABA based curriculum
Create data sheets, lead and assist in data collection and analyze data in order to enhance student performance
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related service staff, administrators and outside agencies in order to provide consistency in programming
Provide support to general and special education students as necessary
Participate in special education meetings and develop IEP goals and objectives; complete progress monitoring
Provide professional development on the implementation of behavioral interventions and provide training to students, staff, and parents
Respond to behavioral crisis as needed
Complete progress and billing reports for Medicaid billable services
Perform other duties as requested by the director of special education

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee will occasionally be required to stand, walk, bend and reach. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Manual dexterity is required to finger, handle or grasp objects. Must be able to hear and talk. Ability to drive required to travel when necessary within and outside of the District.
