    1-3 days a week possible (variable shifts)

    Ambulatory Day Surgery Center that primarily services sports medicine, ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Pain management, general surgery, surgical oncology, urology, and ob/gyn.

    At Baylor Scott & White Health, your well-being is our top priority. The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
    Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.

    Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.

    Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.

    Use problem-solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.

    Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures.

    Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.

    Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.
    Capability to identify and report changes in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as required.
    Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day assignments.

    Field of Study:
    The applicable major should be nursing.
    Prefer RN experience in Pre/Post care, Med/Surg, ER or ICU.
